From FLABS to ABS BABY!!

  

Hey Friends!!!

SHAME picture in the middle!! haha, but I thought it's about time i share a bit more about my journey into this fitness and health/ figure competing world. Like i said before, it's been hard at times but i have achieved more than i ever thought possible, and am continuing to take it to the next level. From Flab's to Ab's is what i tell people, and it is totally possible! if i can do it YOU can to!! The photo on the left, was close to the biggest i got which was around the 90kgs round three years ago, but unfortunatly i don't have a before picture of me at that size. Middle photo i was around the 75kg mark, having lost some weight doing a theatre show 'the wizard of oz' dancing around and being so buzy as a munchkin i lost weight to my surprise. Than i decided to actually change my lifestyle and give it my best shot! With the help of a beautiful friend of my Katie, the mission was set to shock all...I think i shocked myself the most, that i could actually do it. Mid May last year, i meet a lovely trainer and started to lift weights, and decided to give the figure bodybuilding thing a go...LOVED IT!! and now i'm hooked...

Lets Celebrate a great year!!!

2010 has been a great year! I have had so many great times, but this moment has got to be the biggest highlight of the year for me. Winning NZifbb miss Waikato overalls in october 2010, standing next to the beautiful Rosa-Maria Romero and Raechelle Chase, both Top IFBB Pros. From here i headed on my way to NZifbb nationals winning open international figure, missing out on the overall next to the beautiful Nuria Novoa. Now if you asked me three years ago, if i would even wear a bikini on the beach i would have punched you, let alone on a stage in a giant pair of heels and a baywatch style bikini...and to win...WOW unbelievable, a dream come true. Having lost 25kgs over the last three years, but truly only finding out about this figure/bodybuilding world 8months ago, I'm now hooked!! I will NEVER go back to my old lazy ways, and believe me, if i can do it you can...i used every excuse under the sun before i realised i was only kidding myself. Im so excited about next year and what it will bring. So enjoy this time of year with beautiful family and friends, and make a goals list for 2011, I am!!
